Fantasy Swords

Some of the swords made here at Darksword Armory are modelled after specific historical pieces, others are made according to types that would have existed in different times and places in the past. Other swords have more varied sources of inspiration. Fantasy Swords; J.R.R. Tolkien, David Gemmell, Robert E. Howard – countless authors have created wondrous tales set in faraway, fantastical lands. These stories of fantasy draw us in, capture our imaginations, and exist as timeless pieces of our culture. Many Sword Collectors (and many staff at Darksword Armory!) first became obsessed with Fantasy Swords thanks to the magical weapons that appeared in fiction. Here at Darksword Armory, you’ll find several hand forged, battle ready swords that are created as respectful homages to the works that delighted and inspired us throughout our lives.
