Reason of sale: This sword was on display in our showroom for the last two years.  As a former display piece, the sword shows minor scratches on the blade and fittings (see image gallery for details).  Our team will professionally polish and clean these spots prior to shipping, ensuring the sword arrives in beautiful, ready-to-display condition.

The Langes Messer (Long Knife) is one of the most iconic and recognizable weapons of the German Renaissance. Characterized by its single-edged blade and knife-like hilt construction, this model features the classic Nagel—the shell-shaped guard protrusion designed to protect the hand. This specific sword has been a centerpiece of our showroom collection for the past two years, serving as a prime example of the balance between a rugged utility tool and a refined sidearm.

As an older demo model, this Messer has been handled for display purposes but has never been used for cutting or combat. It remains a fully functional, high-performance weapon with its structural integrity perfectly intact.
