Reason of sale: This is a one of a kind sword, made by our shop . The sword is inspired by the Balrog of the Lord of The rings. The pommel is etched with the eye of Sauron. The Ricasso features Spanish Notch, inspired by the form of the Balrog. (A Spanish Notch is the highly stylized decorative cutout at the transition are between the Ricasso and the sharpe edge).  The waisted grip is half wrapped in aged copper wire and the blade has been blued (Blackened). 

The Balrog is a beautifully balanced sword. In hand, the sword feels like an extension of one’s arm. The sword is 40″ total with a 32″ blade.  The Diamond shaped blade profile makes this sword a powerful cutting and thrusting weapon.
