Reason of sale: The sword is made with various parts that have not passed our quality control. There are pits on the guard and some blemishes where the grip meets the guard (see image gallery for details). These are aesthetic issues that do not affect the sword’s structural integrity. The sword is fully functional and can be used for cutting tests and combat. 

Inspired by the martial heritage of medieval crusader chivalry and sacred military orders, this Militaris Templi Two-Handed War Sword is a commanding, large-scale battlefield weapon. Pairing striking royal blue leatherwork with deeply etched historic iconography, this imposing two-handed sword possesses immense presence. In the hand, it feels exceptionally well-balanced, authoritative, and powerful—built with the mass, reach, and edge geometry to cut through anything in its path.

Forged with an emphasis on sheer kinetic power, devastating cutting ability, and historical elegance, the Militaris Templi Two-Handed War Sword captures the height of High Medieval grand sword design. Hand-forged and dual-tempered from 5160 high carbon steel, the 36-inch blade features a broad 2 1/4-inch base that transitions into an acute cutting and thrusting profile. A deep central fuller runs through 3/4 of the blade’s length, reducing redundant mass and optimizing the sword’s dynamic balance. 

While discounted for minor cosmetic imperfections, the sword’s structural integrity is 100% intact. The blade is fully tempered, securely peened, and ready for heavy handling, backed by Darksword Armory’s standard functional durability.
