Reason of sale: The guard and pommel shows some slight signs of wear. There are minor pits (see image gallery for details). The pits are not very noticeable and do not affect the sword’s structural integrity. The blade is in perfect condition and has been properly tempered and heat treated. The pommel and guard are made of solid bronze and have been heavily etched with Jesus while the virgin Marie is on the flipside. The sword has an excellent balance. In hand, it feels present yet responsive. This is a one of a kind piece.
