Reason of sale: the sword was made with fittings that have not passed our quality control. The grip has a small dark spot right below the pommel. There are minor scratches on the guard and pommel as well. The blade is in excellent condition. The sword’s structural integrity is intact. In hand, the sword feels incredibly well balanced and a perfect extension of one’s arm. It is very responsive and can easily be wielded with either one or two hands. The sword falls under type XVIIIa in Oakeshott’s typology. the blade features a broad base that tapers gracefully to an acute, piercing point.
