Our blade smiths individually handcraft each medieval sword using the traditional techniques of the middle ages (hammer and anvil) while remaining true to size, weight, and geometry. This ultimately produces a sword that feels and looks as authentic as the originals – made as fully functional battle ready weapons.

Through painstaking research and firsthand experience with antique medieval weapons, Darksword Armory has crafted truly functional medieval swords able to withstand the rigors of combat. Our swords are finely crafted in a traditional and authentic manner, as those of the middle ages. Our Medieval weapons are sold either blunt for safety or sharp for cutting tests.

We also supply a line of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) swords with blunt edges, following the specs of the HEMA Alliance. The HEMA swords are excellent for both Western Martial Arts (WMA), Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), and various stage combat.

Medieval Armor

Medieval armor also forms part of our collection. Functional and specially made for HEMA, WMA and SCA combat, the armor is forged with 14 and 16 g steel and fully articulated for functional, comfort and usability in combat.
