Our entire arsenal of medieval swords, daggers and battle axes are individually made using the same traditional hammer and anvil techniques as the original medieval bladesmiths. Each sword remains true to the size, weight, and geometry of historical pieces, resulting in a well balanced, historically sound, fully functional, battle ready weapon. Through painstaking research and firsthand experience, we ensure our medieval weapons withstand the rigors of combat. Our finely crafted swords are available blunt for safety or sharp for cutting tests. We also supply a dedicated line of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) swords, crafted to the specs of the HEMA Alliance, perfect for Western Martial Arts (WMA), SCA, and stage combat. Darksword Armory has been creating finely made medieval weapons for the last 29 years. The owner, Eyal Azerad, has travelled throughout the world to document and examine various sword and armor collections, in both world class museums and by invitations to private collections. The painstaking research and experience in handling various medieval weapons, allows us to accurately create their historical counterparts, while remaining faithful to the weight, balance and feel.
Medieval Armor
Medieval armor also forms part of our collection. Functional and specially made for HEMA, WMA and SCA combat, the armor is forged with 14 and 16 g steel and fully articulated for functional, comfort and usability in combat.
