(Sale Sword ) Lokasenna Viking Sword (#98904)

Relative condition: 8/10

Structural integrity: 10/10

Reason of sale: We made this very special sword with left over parts from a previous production. This is a one of a kind, unique sword with the Lokasenna poeme acid etched on the blade in Old Norse. What truly sets this sword apart is its intricate design. The polished blade has been acid-etched with a section of the Lokasenna, or “Loki’s Flyting,” a powerful poem from the Poetic Edda. This classic text recounts a heated exchange of insults between the gods and Loki, bringing a piece of Viking mythological history to life on the blade itself. Etched on the blade’s surface, the runes spell out “ÆGISHJÁLMUR,” which is the Old Norse word for the Helm of Awe. This symbol is believed to offers protection and victory in battle.

The sword is a tribute to the artistry and storytelling of the Viking Age. Whether you’re a collector of historical replicas or a fan of Norse mythology, the Viking Lokasenna Sword makes for a stunning centerpiece.

In hand, the sword feels very responsive yet powerful enough to cut through any opponent.
