Reason of sale: This folded steel viking sword was made with a blade that did not entirely pass our quality control process due to Aesthetic flaws. There are very minor scratches on the blade. Other than that, the sword is in perfect condition and the sword's structural integrity is intact. This is just an aesthetic blemish. The sword itself is a pleasure to wield. In hand, at 2 lbs 4 oz, the sword feels extremely responsive and very well balanced. The oval shaped grip is very comfortable. The blade has been engraved with Nordic runes, meaning Bear Slayer.

Reason of sale: This Einar sword was our original prototype when we first created the model. The sword has since been on display in our showroom. There are minor aesthetic rust scuffs on the blade. We will polish the blade prior to shipping. Other than that, the sword is in very good condition. The einar is one of our best selling swords. It is a beautiful piece that offers destructive force. As with all our blades, the sword is made with a full tang.

Part of our Fallen Warrior sale lot, This Jousting helmet was used in for an A&E documentary. There are some scratches and minor dents (see pictures in image gallery). All straps are intact. 

Jousting emerged during the 12th C. from the military use of the lance by the mounted knight. During the latter part of the Middle Ages, jousting gained popularity in numerous kingdoms and was transformed into a lucrative event. Knights and nobles gained considerable wealth, prestige and land during such bouts, while merchants and artisans benefited from the ‘games’ by the distension of neighboring populations. While Jousting spread widely across the Christian kingdom, Pope Innocent II, in 1130, at a church council at Clermont, denounced all forms of ‘Noble’ tournaments and forbade Christian burials for Nobles killed in them. According to ecclesiastical ideas of morality, the ‘games’ distracted the aristocracy from focusing on more acceptable warfare, in defense of Christianity.

The Arundel Head is a Hellenistic bronze sculpture of a dramatist or king from Asia Minor, now kept in the British Museum . Dating to the 2nd-1st centuries BC, the head once belonged to, and takes its name from,  the famous English collector of classical antiquities Thomas Howard, 21st Earl of Arundel. The bronze sculpture was brought to England from Constantinople in the early seventeenth century as part of Thomas Howard's collection. 

The head is all that remains of a life-size bronze statue. The artist has realistically conveyed the worn features of an old man, including a wrinkled forehead, almond-shaped eyes and pouting mouth, which gives the portrait an air of power and authority. The hair of this bronze masterpiece is tied down in a ribbon, which suggests it may have portrayed a poet. Once thought to represent the ancient Greek writer Homer , it is currently considered to personify either the ancient Greek playwright Sophocles or Macedonian King. 

The bust was acquired by Darksword Armory founder, Eyal Azerad, who has now decided to part with it to make room for new pieces.

Head of Aphrodite, Cast from the original by the Louvre Museum workshop. The bust was acquired by Darksword Armory founder, Eyal Azerad, during the mid 1980’s during his visit to the Louvre. The bust is signed by the Museum workshop at the base of the neck. 

Aphrodite, also known as Venus in Roman mythology, is the ancient Greek goddess of love, beauty, desire, and fertility. She is one of the twelve Olympian gods and goddesses who resided on Mount Olympus. According to Greek mythology, Aphrodite was born from the foam of the sea near the island of Cyprus after the castration of the titan Uranus by his son Cronus.

Aphrodite is often depicted as a beautiful and seductive goddess, associated with love and desire. She had a significant influence over the realms of romance, passion, and procreation. Aphrodite was married to Hephaestus, the blacksmith of the gods, but she had numerous affairs and romantic entanglements with both gods and mortals, including Ares, the god of war.

Her symbols include the dove, the rose, the scallop shell, and the mirror. Aphrodite had a notable role in various myths and legends, such as the story of her love affair with the Trojan prince Paris, which was a catalyst for the Trojan War. She was also closely associated with the city of Athens, where she had a temple called the Aphrodite Pandemos, which represented her role in public and civic life.

Aphrodite's influence extended beyond Greece, as she was widely worshiped throughout the ancient Mediterranean world. Her cults and temples were present in various cities and regions, and her worship often involved rituals and festivals celebrating love and fertility. Aphrodite remains a prominent figure in Greek mythology and continues to inspire artistic depictions and interpretations of love and beauty.

The new project from Darksword Armory Owner Eyal Azerad - the Raven Chef Knife is a high end, Japanese inspired professional chef knife at an affordable price, Canadian-made with EN 1.4116 German Krupp steel. This traditional Japanese chef knife has been redesigned with more chopping and cutting clearance, with a newly designed bolster angle. This makes the Raven Knife much easier to handle, control and slice - with an ultra sharp-edge.

The Raven Knife comes with our signature Series magnetic knife block.  
The magnetic knife block is made with 1" thick super magnets set in Canadian maple stained wood. The double-sided magnetic block can hold up to 8 large knives (4 on each side). The block weights 14 lbs. The super magnets will hold any knife very tightly to avoid any knife drops.
