The guard is decorated with a floral French motif, while the 'Writhen' pommel is cast directly from a 15th century Katzbalger in the collection of the Sovereign co designer, Eyal Azerad.

Hand forged, the Marquis is made from EN-45 Spring Steel and Tempered to a Rockwell of 50. The Guard and pommel are made of Copper.
