I ordered it unsharpened with a plain scabbard, this is a beautiful looking piece and it is inspired by the game of Thrones and in my opinion would have made afar superior sword for Jon snow than the one in the movie with that god awful hilt. Being A fan of the Witcher (games ,books and Mini series) it would also make Geralt of Rivia proud. My sword has a 36″ blade as opposed to the 38″ advertised which gives it a stiffer blade which i appreciate as i saw one review where the reviewer and said it was the most flexible bade he had handled. The sword is nicely balanced and with the shorter blade handles more along the lines of a bastard sword…it is light enough to use 1 handed for a short while…so all in all I really like this sword…thank you Darksword
