I looked online for almost 2 years and the last year I've basically been researching this one. Honest educated info is hard to come by on alot of medieval information. This sword is phenomenal. You will need to work out, you will need to learn techniques, you will need to treat the steel within a week or soo, then after each use. Everything is straight and perfect and solid, sharp, and shiny. I do recommend watching your credit after using thier payment company as the next day my credit card info was stolen, a week later that had my other card info. Maybe a coincidence I'm not sure. I actually never recieved a response to my email I sent about a week before I ordered it. I was nervous about buying and waiting 6 months. But I went ahead anyway. Soo glad I did. Sword was shipped and the horribly reviewed Canpar delivered with no issues and was polite I'm told to my wife's sister where I had it delivered...... Scabbard is beautiful. I believe it's a right side scabbard for left hand draw, I'm right handed, maybe Dark sword Armory will insert a select a right or left hand draw scabbards and sheathes, if the daggers have interlaced belts I'd have to look again. And I will. I want a dagger too. Next. Absolutely suggest getting your sword here. Not many other companies making swords the right way. Mine was ;)-"""

I received my Two Handed Templar sword today, and because words can be paltry things, I will only use a few.
Quality steel, fashioned into a poetic and artistic masterpiece of strength and potent beauty. It is everything I had hoped for and more. The sword is a pure masterpiece, but the scabbard is also quality and a joy in appearance, functionality, and even smell (leather is as good as the smell of bacon, for me).
I am a member of an elite Templar Order, and will be proud to don this blade along with tabard and surcoat.
Attention to detail: Exquisite.
Shipping to Italy: Rapid
Fit and finish: High quality.
Sturdiness and strength: Solid
Ease of use: Balanced, and feels like an extension of my arm.
Bravo, Darksword Armory. Bravo

This is my 1st sword and I must say it has hooked me. The quality and craftsmanship put in by Darksword Armory are amazing. It is as beautiful to look at as it would be deadly in battle. I will most definitely be buying additional works of art from Darksword in the future.

This is one of my absolute favourite swords... I have a lot of the Dark Sword Armory blades and can recommend this one to practitioners who prefer a blade-heavy balance, good clean cutting edge, and shorter two-handed grip, which is characteristic of the 12th & 13th Century War Swords (Épée de Guerre) when compared to the late Middle Ages Longswords.

This sword, together with the Dark Sword 12th Century Templar Sword, 15th Century Bastard Sword and Black Prince Sword now make up the majority of my training routine. It is a truly beautiful sword and I find it difficult to put down. The Pommel, grip and quillions make the sword comfortable to hold while complementing the beautiful blade. I don't think it is possible to find anything to criticise or to disappoint collectors or practitioners... Not really a sword for the beginner, due to the blade-heavy balance, but for any dedicated student of swordplay the balance will soon feel enjoyable.

Fantastic customer service from Michael, as usual... I cannot recommend this sword enough. Thank you to all the team at Dark Sword Armory

Beyond satisfied with this amazing sword. Best balance I have ever handled, it's heavy without being overwhelming. Feels ALIVE in your hands. Easy to hold and maneuver in one hand, works great with two hands. Slices clean through targets, balances well enough for stabbing. Guard is large enough to protect the hand and wrist, pommel is heavy enough to smash a skull in! Truly, if the Knights Templar carried this masterpiece, they really would have been swordmasters! It's the Lamborghini, the Fabrik National of swords. A deal at twice the price, it's been my go two for home decor and defense! Paired mine with a double wrap belt from Museum Replicas, and it's absolutely amazing. Spend the extra money, get it factory sharpened, even if it's for just decor, you'll be happier!
