This is one serious 2 hander and deserves immediate respect on unsheathing. A mighty blade that comes with a expertly crafted wooden core leather covered sheath with high quality leather belt is sure to impress. This is a blade for splitting helms with a point of balance that commands a very powerful blade indeed. The Norman is best suited for 2 hand wielding and with this being the sharpened version you really don't need to swing hard with this bad boy. Nothing but reverence for DSA in their execution of a historical legend just superb in every way.

Having waited for a while, I finally got mine. I Love it! I can see why it is the top pick. It feels like it's hand and half more then a two handed sword, but I would not due to the blades length. My one nit pick, maybe this is because I lack the experence of holding a true twohanded sword, whe I hold the sword out flat, I notice a small flex of the last five-ten inches, the tip is flexing to the groiund, but whe held straight up, it goes but to being straight. Minus that which I think is because of the 35.5 in. blade legth, I highly recommend you buy one of these!
