This longsword is just a pure joy to handle! It's type XVIIIe blade is more of a thrusting longsword but is still capable of delivering respectable cuts with good edge alignment. Fit and finish is simply great.

I highly recommend this longsword for anyone who desires an agile, quick responding, light and thrust oriented longsword!

This was my second sword from Darksward - it feels very light and nimble. The tip is very pointy, and I actually drew blood just tapping it. The fit and finish is very nice. This and the Damascus Viking are among my friends' favorites.

So i though about buying one of the for a good year. One day i was looking modded section of game called Kingdome Come Deliverence, and saw a model of this beauty, i fell in love with the model of the sword. After some browsing i found model of exact sword here on Darksword Armoy. I ordered it, sharpened, with a interlaced sword belt.

The day came and it arrived, at first i was being skeptical, telling my self "you idiot what did you order?", "100% there will be some problem that will ruin my joy". Well sword arrived and i was breathtaking, polish of the blade is superb, sword is sturdy no moving parts, hilt and grip and pommel are very well made and i am hard presed to find any issues with it, scabbard is very good as well, like honestly i am not regretting the money i pured in this. You will get awesome sword and scabbard with very good quality. If i need it to find any issue or fault ( it would be very very very picky ), it would be slight lack of polish where blade and hilt begin but otherwise sword has excelent quality and its pure joy to swing around. It's light and sturdy. I would want to thank you gentlements at Darksword Armory for you work.

Best Regards Rami

Ummm…I’ve had this sword with me since receiving it. I’ve heard that it’s important to spend a lot of time with your new sword so it bonds with you.
But seriously.
Even non sword-nerd people I show it to are amazed at it’s beauty and FEEL.
The sword- nerd people weep.
It’s got all the things:
Distal taper, check.
Amazing fit and finish, check.
Sharp(with some touch up, even after shop sharpening, like others have experienced), check.
Bent savagely to 60 degrees and bounced back to true, check. Intentionally, I don’t mess around. Lol.
Anyway, total satisfaction.
I’ll be back.

Owned this sword for about 5 years now. The crossguard is a bit loose, but that seems to be a recurrent problem with Darksword. The pommel could weigh a bit more. Otherwise it handles well. A tighter crossguard would given you 4 stars, and a weightier pommel for more balance 5

This is my 3rd purchase from Darksword and my 2nd sword from them. I really love this sword it is very light and easy to control. You can almost use it with one hand. I did order it sharpened and it was but the edges needed some work when I got it. They where a little rough, I used a wet stone and smoothed them out. It cuts very well, I've cut milk jugs and 2 litter plastic bottles and the cuts seems clean and smooth. I would trust darkswords weapons to go into a battle. I'm already planning my next sword purchase from them.
