Great two handed sword!, it looks a lot like an Irish two handed sword. It's absolutely beautiful, the blade length is 44.25", the total length is 59.75", the weight is just over 5lbs. It has a thick 2.25" recaso, the blade is sharp and straight, the hilt is solid and does not rattle, I'm very pleased. Great sword DSA!!, thank you.

I won't mince words with this review. I own a lot of Great weapons- from lots of high-end companies, & this offering from Darksword has become one of my absolute favorites. The High King is a big, bad, beautiful & absolutely deadly Two-Handed Sword. For its size & weight (Mine weighs considerably more than the 4 pounds 3 ounces listed on site) it is well balanced, and it feels good in the hands. The factory edge had a nice bevel, that was very easy to refine with my sharpening equipment. The results were spectacular- the High King blows through targets with ease. I would give this sword 6 stars if I could. It not only looks amazing, but it also comes with a nice scabbard-making it one of the best deals for the money out there. I love it! ALL HAIL THE HIGH KING!

This sword is genuinely amazing. It came wonderfully sharp, and it handles like a dream, I can't fault it at all. It's very imposing, compels you to stare or pick it up. Please make more massive, gorgeous swords like this one

Very nice piece from Darksword Armory. I wanted something that resembled a medieval greatsword that wasn't a claymore style blade, and this fit the bill just fine. My particular sword has a somewhat blade heavy balance to it, but the 12 in. handle allows to even the load with a lower grip toward the pommel giving it more of a balanced feel when swinging, which is nice. I'm giving this sword a 4 out of 5 star review for one reason only, and that reason is upon further use of this blade, I noticed a slight rattle within the handle and my guess would be that given the very long tang, it might be bouncing off the inner lining of the handle when swung or any time of impact is applied. Not too sure if this is normal greatsword behavior or if it's a design flaw due to the "through-pommel" tang construction. But overall, it's a very nice blade and would recommend adding it to your arsenal.
