This sword is fantastic! This is my first quality sword and it proves that every swing. Well balanced, really nice scabbard with straps, great grip, tight fit with no rattles or clicks. Even when my edge alignment is poor, there's no hand shock.

My only gripes are minor knit-picks; I wish the gap around the blade at the guard was a little smaller and that the sharpened blade was sharper.

That being said it still slices through plastic jugs and bottles like butter, right out of the box.

I'm sure it will make a fine companion on my iron horse!

With green scabbard (didn't know it would come green bonus!) and matching green grip (again a surprise) this ring pommel sword came to me flawless. My hats off to you all involved in the forging, truly a fine example with great attention to detail. The weight is 2lb 9.5oz with POB at just under 5in from the guard. The 32 inch blade geometry generates a loud tachikaze (sword wind) sound with very little effort making for great feedback in cutting. I chose to pre order this beauty by several months in advance, not a mistake it is everything I hoped for and more.
