This is the most beautiful sword I have ever seen! The craftsmanship is amazing and you can feel the quality of the sword from the moment you pick it up. The carving on the grip and guard is beautiful and so well done and the grip and weight of the sword feels amazing. I asked Darksword to blacken the blade so the sword would closer match the description in the Silmarillion, and they were able to do so to an epic looking finish! The scabbard is also very nice and fits the sword perfectly. I could not be happier!

My 4th DSA sword, all are of excellent quality.
Gurthang arrived just yesterday, after being stuck at Canada Post (strike) for 2 weeks. Amazing piece of work, the pictures do not express the true presence this sword exudes.In hand it’s a very attention grabbing, it’s the double fuller and everything just works together. Just wow, Glamdring dethroned.I would like to thank the staff at DSA for their competence and the ability to make such blades available to us.

My second Darksword Armory sword and a genuine work of art. Easily my favorite in my collection. I spent a long time languishing between this and several of the other Tolkien-inspired works and the moment I got this in hand I knew that I had made the right decision. The grip is gorgeous, the double-fullers are fantastic and evenly made, and it strikes a fine balance between practicality and fantasy art.
