Fantasy sword.
This unusual weapon is a variation on the Spartan “300” sword. The guard and pommel with the open hand guard are the same, as is the leather wrapped handle… however the blade is one of a kind. Part slashing weapon, part “scaled up” hunting knife, the blade includes a serrated portion along the cutting edge, a more “standard” edge along the flared tip, a section of larger serrations on the back edge and finally some “sword-breaker-like” ridges along the spine – each area designed for different use.
The Shadow of Death sword by DSA is meant for close quarters use, and would be equally at home as a short range slashing weapon or as a brush cutter or general use camping blade. The leather scabbard also has an option for a back strap that buckles in the front and holds the handle over the shoulder for easy access. This utilitarian little design combines brutality and practicality into one savage little package, and should be used with caution if not being kept on display.
