Carpathian Medieval Sword
The Carpathians, a fictional race of people, said to be the ancestors of Vampires, survive by drinking the blood of humans. All vampires were once Carpathians. Carpathians became Vampires after killing a human while feeding, or after losing his “life mate”.
The Carpathian medieval Sword, designed by Jason Woodard, is inspired by the Carpathian legend and the Battles waged at the summit of the Carpathian Mountains between the Goths and the Huns, as recounted in the Scandinavian saga Hervarar. The Carpathian medieval sword, being a medieval fantasy battle ready sword is hand forged with 5160 High Carbon Steel. The blade has been dual hardened. Whereas the medieval sword itself is a unique inspirational piece, the blade geometry is based on historical examples found among various Germanic tribes. The fantasy guard evokes the vampire fangs. The battle ready sword is very well balanced with a POB of 1″ from the guard.
Individually hand forged with 5160 High Carbon Steel and dual Tempered, the Carpathian fantasy sword is a must for collectors of fantasy weaponry. The Germanic leaf-shaped blade geometry, mirrored by the Vampire fang-like guard and mushroom pommel are complimented by a crisp deep fuller, making this sword a truly menacing piece in any collection!
