This is the companion dagger to the Ranger sword, sold in our first sword Gallery, The dagger is made of 1060 high carbon steel and Tempered to a Rockwell of 53. The handle is made of wood covered in black leather. Polished blade and pommel. The dagger comes with a scabbard and a strapping system to attach the dagger to the companion sword's scabbard.

1810 Henry V Dagger
This is the companion dagger to the Henry The Vth Sword, sold in our first sword gallery. As with all our swords and daggers, we forged the Henry the Vth dagger with 1060 High Carbon steel and Tempered to a Rockwell of 53. The handle is made of wood covered in black leather. Polished blade and pommel. The dagger comes with an interlaced scabbard.

1807 16th Century Parrying dagger
This is the companion parrying dagger to our 16th c. Swept hilt Rapier, in the first sword gallery. swept hilt rapiers were very popular among the nobility during the late 16th and early 17th Centuries. During the Renaissance period, the rapier came to indicate its bearer's social status. Armed men were stopped at the gates of London and their swords were measured, if their blade was considered to be too long for their status, their swords were shortned on the spot, to be certain the men adhered to the English sumptuary laws.

1803 Norman Dagger
The Normans (also called Northmen or Norsemen) were Scandinavian Vikings who raided the European coastal settlements during the 8th century. Despite their eventual conversion to Christianity and their adoption of Frankish cavalry warfare, the Normans retained many of the traits of their Germanic ancestors. The Norman dagger is the companion to our Norman sword.

1806 The Guardian
This is the companion dagger to our Guardian Sword.
Designed by Jason Woodard, former “Factory X”, designer, "the Guardian" bears the name of its creator.
“Woodard” was originally derived from the Old English words "wode", meaning wood, and ward, meaning "Guardian". A name given to a forester, a guard, or a protector. An historical usage of the name goes back to the Battle of Hastings, where one Commander "Woodard", was granted lands by King William for his assistance during the battle. The name of "protector" inspired Jason to create this imposing design.

1804 The Black Knight Dagger
This is the companion dagger to our ever popular " Black Knight" Sword, Inspired by E.A. Christensen's sketch work, found on p. 121 of Oakeshott's "Record of the Medieval Sword". Remaining true to its historical form, the black knight sword is one of the perfectly balanced swords of the medieval era. The original, is dated at 1475 (with some controversy).

1802 100 year War Dagger
This is the companion dagger to the 100 year war sword, found in the third sword gallery.
The 100 year war sword and the companion dagger are inspired by the sword of Johannes von Eglofstein, dating from 1411, from which our model was reproduced. Elegant in design, with crisp lines reflecting the emerging architectural trend of the late medieval period.

1805 Stiletto
17th C. – Italian
Metropolitan Museum of Arts
The Stylet or stiletto is the smallest of daggers, easily concealed, lightest in weight, with a strong triangular sectional blade. The dimensions of the stilettos made these daggers a favorite among assassins. The dagger was easy to conceal, enabling assassins to follow their would be victims at close rage without being spotted.
1811 The Black Prince Dagger
The English Prince Edward of Woodstock, Prince of Wales, lived from June 15, 1330 to June 8, 1376. He is a well known historical figure; well known for his chivalrous (and occasionally non-chivalrous) actions, and for never being crowned king despite being the eldest son of King Edward III – he died before his father, and the crown passed to his son Richard instead. Edward would also later come to be known by a nickname of indeterminate origin – “The Black Prince,” a name well known to scholars in the fields of art, history, literature and theater.

1812 Parrying Dagger
Parrying daggers, also known in French, as the "Main-Guache", was designed to parry an offensive thrust while wielding a primary weapon in the other hand, typically a Rapier or other single handed bladed weapon. In contrast to their predecessor, being the medieval dagger, the parrying dagger incorporating a wider guard and often a protective guard.
The use of an off-hand weapon gradually fell out of favor as sword fighting migrated to the use of progressively lighter "small swords". Under these circumstances the use of just a primary weapon offered improvements in balance as well as a stance that offered a smaller target.
