Darksword Armory offers historically accurate, museum referenced, combat ready medieval swords and armors. All our swords are hand forged with a full tang and properly Tempered for historical combat. The quality of our medieval swords and the detailed workmanship in our armors attest to our commitment to historical accuracy. Our bladesmiths' dedication to produce historically accurate Medieval swords and armors is at the core of our success. Each sword, whether part of our medieval sword collection, renaissance rapier, medieval armor or Roman collection, is researched through examples found in museums, private collections, and other historical sources. Our medieval swords and armours are hand forged and combat ready. They are specifically forged for serious collectors and enthusiasts. Our medieval swords are forged by our master blade smiths, focusing primarily on weaponry of the Roman, Medieval and Renaissance eras. All our swords are battle ready and hand crafted with 1060 High carbon Steel and Tempered to a Rockwell of 53. Our website is divided into three main galleries, which includes a large selection of Medieval Swords, Renaissance swords, Lord of the Rings swords and Medieval armors. Each gallery is dedicated solely to Roman, Medieval and Renaissance swords, with a strong emphasis on the period of the Norman Conquest. Our museum referenced medieval swords are complimented by fantasy replicas from the Lord of the Rings trillogy. We further offer in our other galleries examples of historical weapons such as parrying daggers, spears, and medieval daggers. The first gallery contains examples such as the Italian renaissance rapier, German mercenary medieval swords, the Roman Sparta. The early Medieval swords, the Medieval Squire Sword, and the Black Knight Medieval Sword. The second gallery includes the Medieval Knight sword and a replica of the Ranger Lord of the Rings sword. There are also three medieval swords from the period of the Norman conquest. This second gallery also displays our Norman Conqueror, the Norman, a 12th century two handed medieval swords and a 10th century Viking Sword. Gallery III displays three medieval swords from the 15th century, the 2 two handed Gothic medieval swords dating from the late medieval period, and the English Agincourt sword. There is also a two handed English and an Early medieval Visigoth sword. While these medieval swords are almost always available, our armours are happy to make custom blades. Our collection also includes daggers. This includes a 16th century renaissance parrying dagger, the Medieval Agincourt dagger, a Viking and Norman dagger, and the ranger and elf dagger. Our staff also makes medieval armors and armor parts, mostly consisting of gothic armor, historically accurate gothic gauntlets and gothic gorgets for SCA and combat use. Our medieval swords, our armours, and our renaissance rapiers are collected throughout the world. We are proud to offer battle ready Medieval swords and armour to the SCA, LARP, and collectors of combat ready swords, battle ready swords of the Crusades, Norman Invasion, and the Battle of Agincourt. |
