:: Medieval Knight Sword
::
This is a classic example of the Medieval swords found during the later part of the 14th C. and commonly used by the nobility during the 100 years war. The Medieval swords of the era were forged with the traditrional wheel pommel and slightly curved quillions. This sword is classified by Oakeshott as being a Type XIV, with a wide pointed blade suited for both thrusting and cutting. The original can be seen on page 124 of Ewart Oakeshott's "Record of the Medieval Sword".

Customer feeback about the Medieval Knight Sword:
"Thank you so much for the outstanding service! I received
the sword early this week and I've had several days now to examine it and
use it. The fit and finish on this piece is excellent. I am extremely
pleased. You have an excellent business ethic and have gone beyond my
expectations. I won't hesitate to recommend your company and products in the
future and I will certainly be purchasing from Darksword again!" ~

"I recently received the Medieval Knight Sword as a gift
from my wife. I wanted to comment on the tremendous quality present in this
sword. It really feels like I'm holding a piece of history! It's great to
have a Candian company making these swords by hand, the way they were made
centuries ago. Great job to everyone involved!"
